Solits is responsible for personal data processing. This privacy statement explains which personal data we collect and use, and for what purpose. We advise you to read this carefully.

We use your information to be able to handle your order to the best of our abilities. We will not use your information for any other purpose without your permission. Solits (plinths.co.uk) will not sell your information to third parties and will only provide it to third parties involved in the handling of your order.

If you place an order, we require:

- your billing and shipping address
- payment information to process your order

Processing orders

Contact form and newsletter
Our webshop offers an opportunity to ask questions by means of a contact form, where various details regarding your question need to be filled in. You choose which information you provide. The data you send to us will be stored for as long as it is required for complete processing of your request.
We send a newsletter informing the interested parties about our products and/or services. Each newsletter contains a link, which allows you to unsubscribe. Your e-mail address will only be added to the list of subscribers with your explicit permission.

Location data
If it is necessary for order processing purposes, we can collect location data (GPS) from you. For this, your permission is requested before the data collection takes place.
This (location) data can also be stored and processed by the provider of, for example, the navigation/ map software, such as Google Maps, but the data can also be used by, for example, Google or Apple itself. We have no influence on this. We recommend that you read the relevant privacy statements from the relevant provider. Publication

Our web store does not show ads.

Provision to third parties
Your data is not provided to third parties for any reason other than order processing (e.g. shipping companies, couriers etc.).

Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics to keep track of how visitors use our web store. We have signed a processor agreement with Google outlining their processing of our data. Furthermore, we have not allowed Google to use the obtained site analytics information for other Google services. On top of that, we anonymize the IP addresses.

Security
We take the following security measures to limit abuse of and unauthorized access to personal data:
- access to personal data is protected with a username and a password
- we use secure connections (Secure Sockets Layer or SSL) that protect the information exchange between you and our website, when you enter your personal data.

Data Storage Period
The personal data described above are stored for as long as it is necessary to process your orders, including the warranty period. Then we store data for a maximum of one year for statistical purposes. The data will then be erased unless there is a statutory obligation requiring  longer storage period (such as the seven-year fiscal retention obligation for payment data).

Third Party Websites
This privacy statement does not apply to websites of third parties that are connected to our webshop by means of links. We can not guarantee that these third parties handle your personal data in a reliable or secure manner. We encourage you to read the privacy statement of these websites before using them.

Changes to This Privacy Statement
We reserve the right to make changes to this privacy statement. It is advisable to consult this privacy statement regularly, so that you are aware of these changes.
If you want to know what information about you has been stored in our system, you are welcome to look it up using the combination of your email address and password known only to you. All of the information we have about you is stored in your profile and in your order history.
