MDF is a type of wood commonly used in the interior decorating sector. It is strong and light weight. From a distance the MDF Stone plinth is hard to distinguish from true black stone plinths such as Belgian Bluestone. Museums and Galleries often opt for plinths made out of this material.

The plinth of MDF stone look very sleek because they are designed with mitred corners, which makes the edges appear seamless. We finish off our plinths with a protective wax coating for extra strength.

Our pedestals are supplied with sturdy, custom-made felt pads, 4 mm thick. They protect both the plinth and the surface it is standing on from getting damaged.
