Are you looking for a black plinth with a style twist, following the latest trend? A black plinth that would still have that natural look? Then you may just be looking for our black oak veneer plinth.
We use crown-cut veneer in our manufacturing process. This look is achieved by slicing the oak parallel to the growth rings. The result is a "crown" (also known as a "cathedral" or "flame") figure, usually with a straight grain pattern on either side of the feature. The joints of these plinths are mitered and very carefully finished, making the seam work on the corners almost invisible. We spray our black oak veneer plinths with RAL 9005. From September 2024, coloured plinth will have a matt finish instead of the satin one.
Our plinths are also fitted with sturdy, custom-made 4 mm thick felt pads. They provide extra protection for both the plinth and the surface it will stand on.
