Solits has designed this unique white high gloss plinth, which is made from MDF and is coated with a scratch-resistant high gloss layer. This technique is unique. In the past, we used to offer a high gloss sprayed plinth which was beautiful, but also quite delicate. This is no longer a problem now thanks to our scratch-resistant layer. Enhancing this design option with a new production technology has made this item even more attractive.

Our high gloss plinths shine beautifully, and their mitred edges ensure that there are no seams visible. The plinth is lightweight, but can easily carry a weight of up to 100 kg. The high gloss plinths are finished with RAL 9016.

Our pedestals are supplied with sturdy, custom-made felt pads, 4 mm thick. They protect both the plinth and the surface it is standing on from getting damaged.

How can I clean the high-gloss white plinth?

The best way to clean the high-gloss white plinth is with a microfiber cloth or a duster. It is important not to use any material that can leave scratches.

What weight can a high-gloss white plinth carry?

A high-gloss white plinth can support a weight of up to 100 kg.

Are the plinths water-resistant?

Our white and black plinths have a top layer of laminate, which is somewhat resistant to a  light degree of exposure to moisture. If water is spilled onto such a plinth, this will not create an immediate problem. Nonetheless, you should try to dry the plinth as quickly as possible, so that moisture does not penetrate into the plinth. Please, pay particular attention to the bottom and the seams of the plinth, as moisture  will get absorbed  more quickly from these spots, which may result into water damage.

Are your products open or closed at the bottom?

Our plinths and display cases are 5-sided, open at the bottom. We can also make them 6-sided on request. Please, contact us regarding this option.
