Products appear to float on a glass plinth! This creates a beautiful illusion and highlights the item that you are displaying.

We manufacture our glass display plinths from extra clear Optiwhite glass. It guarantees that you will not see any greenish glow or green edges, so typical for glass art and retail displays. Being an extra clear glass type, Optiwhite will enhance the high-end quality of your retail display and your product.

The seam work on this display plinth is at a museum quality level - an extra high quality bonding using the UV glue. This glue makes the bonding super strong and crystal clear. The edges are tightly honed and finished with a small facet, so no sharp corners remain. These glass plinths are made of 6 mm untempered glass. They can also be manufactured for you from tempered (safety) glass upon request. In this case, a difference in rates and lead times needs to be taken into consideration.

In case you opt for a larger bespoke glass plinth, we will use 8mm thick glass for extra safety and security. Contact us at info@plinths.co.uk regarding all possible combinations.

What weight can a glass plinth carry?

A glass plinth can carry a weight of up to 25 kilos.

How is a glass plinth packed for safe transportation?

The glass plinth is packed in a box and placed on a pallet so that it is well-protected and arrives undamaged.

Does the glass have a greenish tint?

We manufacture our glass plinths from the so-called extra clear Optiwhite glass. As a result, there is no greenish glow nor any visibly green edges, which is often the case with glass products.

Can the glass products be ordered in tempered, laminated, or safety glass?

Yes, we can also manufacture your plinth or display case from tempered (safety) glass or from laminated glass. The costs for this cannot (yet) be calculated directly through our website, but we are happy to make a quote for you.

Are your products open or closed at the bottom?

Our plinths and display cases are 5-sided, open at the bottom. We can also make them 6-sided on request. Please, contact us regarding this option.
