Pedestal belgian bluestone, sanded, mitred, bespoke

Quarried in Belgium, Belgian Bluestone has a very dark and smoky indigo blue base colour, with fossils and hints of charcoal grey. It is a limestone particularly good for landscaping and other exterior design projects, but it can also look stunning as part of your interior design.

The stone has a classical appeal due to the fossils captured in it, and the visible white veins. Belgian bluestone can be made in a polished (shiny) version, soft finish (mat) version or sanded (rough) style. The end colour will vary per finish, from very dark antracite grey to lighter grey hues with a blueish tint.

These plinths are made of 2 cm thick stone slabs, mitred, to make their weight manageable. The edges are beveled to avoid any sharp corners.
